This year The Center for Homeschool Excellence has had the privilege of meeting in the old Snow Hill Elementary School building in
Ooltewah, TN (also known as the Hwy. 58 Fire Training Center) so we have decided to host our 2008 “New-2-You” Curriculum Fair
at our own home location!
When: Tuesday, June 3rd, 2008 - Mark your calendar!
Time: 9am till 1pm
Admission: FREE so invite everyone
you know and bring a friend!
Table rental: $15 - includes one table and unlimited chairs! (No charge for extra chairs.) The best
way to pay the table rental fee is online. Click on the link at the top of this page. We accept credit cards, debit cards and
Paypal. You can also mail the application and check to Angie Lippard, 4319B Katy Kim Lane, Ooltewah, TN 37363. You can rent a half
table for $7.50.
Since we are in a new location this year, the Fair setup will be a little different. Those who get their applications
to me first, will have their tables located in the main area of the auditorium. After that, tables that are rented will be located
in the classrooms and throughout the rest of the building. You will get to bring in your items and set them up on Monday instead of
only on Tuesday morning! This will give you more time to get your items prepared and not be so rushed on the day of the Fair. Woo
hoo!
Activities: Back this year - the cakewalk! Also, we have the .25 cent cupcake walk, face painting and awesome door prizes!
Food:
This year we will be serving hot breakfast and lunch items in our kitchen. You will be able to order breakfast items like biscuits
and bagels, as well as, corn dogs, hot dogs, burgers, nachos and more. We will have vegetarian and non-vegetarian items available.
We will also sell homemade baked goods so come hungry and leave happy.
Directions going North on I-75: Take Exit 11 off the interstate.
After you get off the interstate, you will have the option of turning left or yielding right. Turn left. At the stop sign, turn left
onto Lee Hwy./US-11. You will go under the interstate and the road will end at the red light. Turn right at the red light onto Snow
Hill Rd. Stay straight and Snow Hill Rd. will turn into Mountain View Rd. You will stay on Mountain View Rd. for 2.4 miles and then
it will turn into Ooltewah-Georgetown Rd. Stay straight for 4.2 more miles. You will go past Ooltewah High School, Frost Cutlery,
FitOne Gym, Wilson’s Upholstery, and Savannah Bay Church. You will come to a stop sign. Turn left onto Mahan Gap. You will go past
Dollar General store and over a little bridge. You will turn right onto the road in front of the schoolhouse. The building has “Fire
Training Center” lettered on the outside. We will have signs along the way.
