What are the membership requirements and how do I join CHE?
First, I am so glad you are considering joining The Center for Homeschool
Excellence support group.
• Membership requires a $35 yearly family member fee. This enrolls all of your children. Scholarships
will be available for those who have a financial need. The membership fee gives you access to field trips, service projects,
socials and planned activities -everything except classes.
• Class fees will be seperate and decided on by each individual class.
The class fees cover the costs of supplies, rental, copies, etc. There will be a cap on how much each family will pay so that
the class fees do not become exorbitant for large families.
• Every parent is required to participate in some way. Membership
requires commitment to one team of their choice (more if they want)
• Membership requires commitment to being a part of the class day
by teaching, assisting the teacher, helping with supplies or snacks, whatever is agreed upon and needed by your team lead.
• Commitment
simply means that you give back to the organization your gifts and talents. Examples: Organizing a field trip, a service
project, a social activity, helping with a club, helping with graduation ceremony, organizing a project or
idea. (newsletter, yearbook, field day, etc.), teaching or assisting the teacher, substitute for the teacher, helping pepare
class or club materials, helping financially if the need arises or donate supplies, volunteering for child care and
other things that you are good at.
• Code of Conduct expected - This is not child care. We expect you to be with your children and
know what they are doing at all times. Their behavior and/or mishaps are your responsibility.
• You will need to sign a waver releasing
The Center for Homeschool Excellence, Angie Lippard and the location where the classes are held from being liable if your
child is injured and that you will also be responsible for any damages caused by your child.
We
look forward to meeting you and your family!
