Below is an excerpt from the Keepers of the Faith website explaining their program in more detail. "Academics will always be a vital part of a child’s education, but children need much more if they are to develop into capable, competent adults—the adults that God intends them to be. As they grow and mature, they need additional skills to prepare them for life. Many other things will be expected of them when they get a job. They need to learn financial responsibility, how to lead their families, and most importantly, how to serve the Lord in all that they do!

This is a "hands-on" type program... [for] boys and girls [that] incorporate Christian principles as an integral part of the learning process...These programs are Bible-based and Christ-centered... you will also find no denominational teachings or leanings. The Bible, living it, and the Christian walk are all integral to these programs, but their purpose is to provide a simple Bible base—not to enter into doctrinal conflicts. They have changed the lives of young people (and the lives of parents and leaders) for two decades.

How to join CHE
What is your definition of "excellence"?

We believe that the Biblical definition of excellence is described in Mark 12:30 - "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength." Mark 12:30. From this we developed the mission statement below:

* We will love the Lord our God with sincerity in our inner life, character and personality. (Heart)
* We will love the Lord our God with fervor, joy, devotion and passion. (Soul)
* We will love the Lord our God with our thinking, reasoning and understanding. (Mind)
* We will love the Lord our God with our strength and the whole energy of our being. (Strength)
In other words, we will love the Lord our God with a sincere, devoted, passionate, intelligent, energetic love.

We recognize, that in our own strength, we are incapable of producing change in our lives, our children, our family or the world -only Christ can do this. We will rely on Christ to guide us in what we teach, what we offer, how we grow and our future. The benchmark of success is not in numbers, clubs, honors or curriculum choice. The benchmark of success is that Christ is with us and we are continually drawing closer to Him.

The four main areas that CHE will focus on in our programming will be character (heart), passion (soul), intellect (mind), and service (strength).

We hope to accomplish this by:
* Encouraging and supporting parents in their walk with Christ and their homeschool journey while fostering a sense of community and transparency amongst each other
* Helping homeschool parents through the high school years
* Supporting excellent home education emotionally and practically
* Finding out what we are passionate about and using that passion for Christ and service
* Offering classes with a Christian world view and Biblical application
* Using Classic Literature to teach or show Biblical character and values
* Utilizing our hands and physical strength to help a hurting world through service projects and community development
* Going and growing where God leads
